Measure and evaluate the changes

You have defined the outcomes you expect to achieve in terms of take up etc. You must ensure you monitor the changes to see if you achieve your outcome. These will be achieved over different timescales so it is useful to identify some which will happen quickly as well as others which will take place over a longer period.

Evaluate the work

As well as evaluating success in quantitative terms such as take up or savings, you should talk to your customers again as part of co-design to assess the qualitative improvements – was it a better services? Did they get what they needed?
You should also ask them why it worked and how it can be improved to help plan any roll out.
