The Belgian partners of the Smart Cities project launch the website www.zegonshoehetkan.be. This website invites customers to co-design municipal and regional electronic services by collecting user stories. The website builds further on the UK-experience of www.showusabetterway.co.uk .
The City of Kortrijk, Memori and Leiedal work together in creating customer-focused electronic service solutions. The website invites people to give their ideas, not by asking them specific solutions, but asking them to tell their story. These stories lead to ideas for improving existing services, or re-engineering existing services, or inventing new services. People can comment and rate the ideas of other people.
The website will be actively promoted to some target groups: business, youngsters, administrations and organisations, the users of the municipal websites,... using traditional means as press releases and e-mailing campaigns, but also using social networks like Linkedin and Facebook.
The Belgian partners will use the results coming out of this project for assessing local services and prioritising needs of electronic services. This will be combined with the research locally done in WP5 - Customer profiling.
The website can be read in English (automatic translation by Google): http://translate.google.com/translate?prev=_t&hl=nl&ie=UTF-8&u=www.zegon...
