Smart Dialogue is a joint project between the School- and Kindergarten- departments under the Smart Cities framework. The Municipality of Kristiansand has for a long time worked to offer the public web-based services to make communication between public and municipality better and more convenient for both parties.
The organisation of School and Kindergarten in two different departments have led to double archives, and other less efficient procedures.
Now there is a joint project that will produce on service covering all personal informations for the child and parents from the day the child applies for place in the kindergarten until the day it leaves primary school at 16.
So what is the service:
- A web based presentation of the municipal offer on kindergarten, schools and before and after school care. Better information to the parents and increased choice of service
- Arrange for self-service, so parents can operate on a convenient and secure way of choosing a kindergarten, a school and order, change or terminate the service of kindergarten and before and after school care
- Increase efficiency in the administrative work with all work concerning changes, termination and applications in the Kindergartens and before and after school care.
- Reduce the use of paper and paper-based information
Introduce a My-Page solution for all communication (or the communications that by choice will be put here)
- Establish one joint archive solution for children and their parents across the silos
- Establish a joint invoicing solution with an interface to the financial systems.
