A local E-Gov Academy organised by Intercommunale Leiedal and KHMechelen - Memori will focus on co-designing public services. Techniques and cases will be presented, based on former experiences in the Kortrijk region and the knowledge Memori gathered over the years.
Over 600 people - customer officers, policy makers and responsible officers of all kind of public services - are invited to attend the Academy. The programme is a mix of lectures and workshops. The programme can be found on www.leiedal.be/ega18 (Dutch).
Eric Goubin (memori) will deliver the keynote. He will explain why user research is relevant in a public organisation.
Cases presented:
* SMS service of the social house Kuurne
* Communication survey City of Kortrijk
* Using Facebook and other channels for neighborhood work
* Analysis of potential library use based on transactions and GIS
* Analysis of needs of elderly people in rural areas
The workshops are brought by the people of Leiedal and Memori presenting these themes:
* Building surveys and using qualitative techniques
* Online marketing using newsletters
* Using profiling in the municipal websites
* Building portals for target groups on top of municipal websites
The knowledge of the Transnational Academy of Norwich (March 2009) will be disseminated, and also the knowledge gathered by the Scran-network.
