Intercommunale Leiedal started a three day workshop in the Kortrijk region on contact centres. Four municipalities are planning to build new infrastructure for service delivery. They are changing from a classic town hall to a customer focused organisation.
The workshop is based on the Dutch "Answer" model, a methodology on organisational change, customer services organisation and multichannel approach. Hogeschool Gent, Memori and the City of Groningen cooperate in the workshop. The building of a contact centre in cooperation with the Dutch and other Smart Cities partners will be one of the transnational pilots realised in 2010.
