Karlstad municipality and the University of Karlstad welcomed the Smart Cities partners in the beginning of June. On the Steering Committee the partners agreed on work plans, communication issues and other project related items.

On a very inspiring visit to Karlstads University, the partners were inspired by Bo Edvardsson, giving a lecture on "Value creation through service and service innovation".

Karlstad presented on this occasion the local pilots of the municipality to the local press.
