The project Vital Rural Area will hold its second International Policy Forum on Regional Development on October 7th and 8th, 2010, in Billund (DK). Smart Cities will talk about "Customer profiling and developing a service channel strategy for rural areas" - Lessons and practices from the Smart Cities partnership.

In this workshop we will show a customer profiling work flow, going from data analysis, over service reengineering and developing a channel strategy to the marketing of services. Some practices from the UK and the Kortrijk region (Belgium) are highlighted, with an extra focus on cases in rural areas.
